De iDS-7716NI-I4/X(B) is een 4K NVR van Hikvision en is het pareltje onder de recorders. De DS-7716NI-I4 kan cameramodellen van 8 en zelfs 12 Megapixel aan. Aansluiten van de camera’s gaat via IP. Dit betekent dat u een andere wijze van voeding nodig heeft, bijvoorbeeld een PoE switch.
Door gebruik te maken van een speciaal door Hikvision ontwikkelde encryptie, H.264+, wordt het bandbreedte verbruik van de camera’s drastisch gereduceerd.
Dit maakt het mogelijk om met een NVR een stabiel en storingsvrij netwerk te maken ondanks de ongekend hoge beeldkwaliteit die door het beeld loopt.
Deze extra compressie zorgt er ook voor dat de opslagcapaciteit van de harde schijf optimaal benut wordt.
Er is ruimte voor 4 harde schijven in deze recorder en deze recorder beschikt over 1x WAN en 16x IP poorten om het netwerk gescheiden te houden.
